Of those longing to hear a comforting, 'It's alright'

I have the ability
To be more loving and kind to everyone
To make a positive impact when I am gone
To be compassionate to the hurting
To be understanding to the deserted

I have the ability
To give and love unconditional
To triumph and rise after I stumble and fall
I have the ability to forgive and forget
Though others haven't forgiven and forgotten yet
I have the ability to learn from my failings
To climb above it and go on sailing
