We do posses a strong will and power to conquer any adversity we face, only if we believe in ourselves and believe we can. I now realize that every situation in life has a purpose, be still and listen to the message in the midst of that crisis. I now mentor the depressed and down-trodden souls, I've been there but it was only meant for a purpose, now I know...
I love who I am..
Every pore,
Way down to my core
Every sigh, every high
Every hurt, every thought
Every pain, every gain
I love who I have become..
I’ve let go of my hurt and my pains
I am reaching for the sky again
I no longer feel like I’m tied
Nor buried underneath a tide
I am thankful that I have cried..
Tears that have never lied
In my deepest depression
I found a strange consolation
Lifted my head up off my shame
Now I can face the world again
I am humbled by my failings..
Hung in there in hope and aspirations
Saw a rainbow in the midst of my frustration
I didn’t give up, I didn’t give in
No one knows where I’d been
Though dreary, I didn’t give in and die
Nor did I whisper why, oh why
I remained humbled and silent..
In my solitude, I achingly vent
Found the solution was lying within me
I stopped blaming myself and my past
So that I could slowly move on
And be finally happy at last
My soul had cried tormenting pain...
That I swore I’ll never be whole again
But in my depth of my silent pain
I’ve learnt to love and live again
I love the lustre of the new soul I have
Smiling and looking at the footprints I’ve carved
I appreciate what I’d been through..
As painful as it had been
A lesson, so cruel yet sublime
Never in my obscure and wildest dream
Thought I would ever rise again
I am now made completely new
And has a totally different view
I believe and know who I am ...
A unique and wonderful being
With beauty emanating from within
You know not how far and deep I’ve been
To create an everlasting imprint
In the minds of everyone I meet
A wondrous creation so complete
